Rating: ***

What to say? An incredibly pleasant read and I thoroughly enjoyed losing two hours reading this, time well spent.

The slow descriptions of seasons woven through the narrative were both lovely and reassuring. Just a sweet, pastoral novel. The story, however, was well-thought and also quite dark towards the end. To a certain extent, you are left to make your own mind up regarding the end ; never a bad a thing in my opinion.

Yup, all said, it won't change your perspective on life or shake your ground but sometimes that isn't required and this book will just give you a very nice time!
